Polymarket recorded a trading volume of $1.16 billion in June, an increase of 9.4% compared to the previous month and the highest since January. The number of new markets also rose by 21.4%, reaching approximately 7,990, indicating the diversification of this platform recently, in contrast to the political focus trend of late 2024.
However, the number of active traders decreased by 9.4% to just over 242,000, which is 47.6% lower than the record high of 462,000 in January. The gap between trading volume and the number of traders indicates that current traders are betting more, with the average trading amount per account increasing from $2,700 to around $4,800. This may suggest that the growth of new users is slowing down.
