U.S. tariff revenue could reach $450 billion, helping to alleviate the fiscal deficit.

According to a certain asset management company, the United States has raised the global average tariff rate to around 18%.

The company's Chief Information Officer Mark Doding stated in a report that based on this assumption, they expect annual U.S. tariff revenue to be about $450 billion, while for 2024 it will be $77 billion, equivalent to 1.25% of GDP.

Dao Ding said: "In the coming year, this income should help reduce the U.S. fiscal deficit to just below 7% of GDP."
